This page says what happens to your data when you use Aver. It is short because very little happens.

Who is responsible

What is collected

If you enter your email address in the launch form, that address is stored. That is the only thing collected, and it is stored on its own: no name, no company, no IP address, no marketing profile, and no cookie is set to track you.

The site sets no analytics and no advertising cookies at all. Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps its own short-lived security logs of requests — that is infrastructure logging outside our control and is not used to identify you.

Why, and for how long

Your address is used for exactly one thing: to send you a single message on the day Aver is released. It is not used for a newsletter, it is never sold, and it is never shared with anyone else for their own purposes.

Addresses are deleted once that message has been sent, or sooner if you ask.

Where it is stored

In a Cloudflare Workers KV store, run by Cloudflare, Inc. as our processor. Cloudflare replicates data across its network, which means it may be held on servers outside Switzerland and the EU. Cloudflare offers standard contractual clauses for those transfers.

Your rights

Under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to its use. Write to hello@aver.video and it will be done — there is one field to look up, so this is not a lengthy process.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: the FDPIC in Switzerland, or the data protection authority of your country in the EU.

Payments

Nothing is on sale yet. When it is, card details will be handled by Stripe and will never reach this site or its servers. This page will be updated to describe what Stripe holds before any payment is taken.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
